Top Lean Six Sigma Features in EngineRoom Below are just a few of the useful features you will find in EngineRoom.

|
Excel Compatibility
Once you have opened Excel, you can easily access the Lean Six Sigma tools and templates of EngineRoom through a pull-down menu (or tab for 2007) titled EngineRoom, which becomes part of Excel.
You can switch between the 'Describe-Compare-Model-Plan-SPC-Sample Size' shown to the left and a 'DMAIC' format as desired.
|
A Common Data Sheet for Variables
Because EngineRoom accesses a common, centralized data sheet, it can reference variables by name. This format helps you to avoid the cutting and pasting of arrays commonly required by Excel.
|
 |

|
Simplified Data Entry
You can load data into EngineRoom's templates by accessing variable names through a handy dialogue box. |
Hypothesis Testing in Plain EnglishTM
This patented interactive wizard makes Hypothesis Testing accessible to all levels of practitioners. The hypothesis wizard uses simplified explanations to provide guidance to the appropriate test and an explanation of the results.

Design of Experiments for Everyone
EngineRoom’s unique, interactive DOE Wizard guides you step-by-step through the process of experimental design creation and analysis.
DOE is only available with the latest release of EngineRoom - Version 5.0! Now, with EngineRoom 5.0, the power and efficiency of DOE is available to practitioners of all skill levels to help achieve major breakthroughs in product and process improvements. |
Stacked Histograms
The Stacked Histogram option allows you to visually compare multiple data sets. EngineRoom automatically generates charts and graphs, which can easily be modified using standard Excel controls. |
 |

|
Interactive Cause & Effect Diagram
Templates for planning and data analysis include an interactive Cause & Effect diagram option. Once created, you can easily customize the Cause & Effect diagram. |
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Need SPC? EngineRoom offers a full range of SPC charts that you can easily create using pull-down menus.
Because these are Excel charts, you can easily save and share the outputs for viewing by other users who do not (regrettably) own EngineRoom.

 |

|
Multiple Regression Made Easy
In EngineRoom, we have error-proofed Multiple Regression through the use of dialogue boxes that guide proper model creation. Once you have selected an alpha level, the model will prompt variable selection. |
Linked Templates
EngineRoom supports Voice of the Customer by linked templates from the Affinity Diagram through to the final Control Plan.
